EVENTS
We love taking our wines to the public and enjoy meeting wine enthusiasts, hearing feedback and discussing grape growing, wine making and tasting. Tallis Wine has participated in some fantastic events this year and partakers seem to enjoy themselves as much as us! We are looking forward to many more occasions where we can meet and chat to you. If you know of an event where you would like to see us, please contact us.

Being a family winery with a small team we are very “hands on” and involved in all aspects of the business, however one of the elements we love the most is taking our wines to events, and tasting and talking about the wines with the people we meet. This is our opportunity for feedback from wine lovers and it is an opportunity we don’t like to miss. Check out the events we have planned for 2008. We would love to see you at our Tallis Wine stand, so come along and taste some of our latest release wines.
A couple of our memorable past events….
Open Day Dirt - November, 2005
The wind blew, the tents flew but still the people came to experience the Dookie Dirt for themselves. Brass quintet Blaserfliegen (German for Blowflies) provided hearty ambiance. The Dookie Lions Club served delicious Dookie lamb sausages with crusty bread and local chutney. Plenty of our wine was tasted and despite the blustery weather we had a great day with about 500 people attending.
Stefano di Pieri Mid Winter Feast - 2nd July, 2006
Overlooking the Tallis vineyard, The Goulburn Valley Community Fund's annual mid winter feast was a long lunch to remember. 175 guests enjoyed the captivating company of renowned chef Stefano di Pieri, savoured hearty winter food prepared by the talented pair Jill & Bernard Hayes and sipped delicious Tallis Wine. We were entertained by the brilliant little two piece local ensemble Daisy Street and the day raised a fantastic $12,000 for local charities.
