Boys cook up a storm at Tallis

BOYS REALLY CAN COOK!

In early March the boys from the Shepparton chapter of the Beefsteak and Burgundy Club visited Tallis Wine cellar door and proved that boys really can cook.

It was an impressive effort created by the members Chris Bell, Simon Billington, Min Innes Irons and John Speis. Paul Phillips produced the sausages and Roger Key was the Wine Master.

Starters included trout (smoked on site with lemon, aioli and capers), natural oysters with asian dressing, BBQ prawns and homemade sausage.

Succulent spit roasted pork loin followed, boasting the most delicious crunchy crackling and was accompanied with purple carrots, crisp green beans, chat potatoes and a wonderful jus.

Summer pudding, fresh berries and cream featured for dessert and a selection of fabulous cheeses ended a most fabulous evening.
