Dookie Hills Riesling 2013

Riesling copy

Our second Dookie Hills Riesling is fragrant and restrained with plenty of lime blossom, green apple and musk aromas. The palate is crisp and dry showing tangy grapefruit and lime pith sitting alongside bright crunchy acidity and a long zesty finish. Screw cap. The cleansing effect of Riesling’s acidity make it perfect alongside spice and chilli so team this with fresh Vietnamese rice paper rolls, a Thai beef salad or a knock your socks off Vindaloo.

ALC/VOL 12.0%. Approx 7.1 standard drinks. Preservative 220 added. Fined using milk products.

Dookie Hills Sangiovese 2013

Sangiovese 2010

IT'S BACK. Deep cherry red in colour. Unmistakably sangiovese, with a characteristic bouquet of spicy fruit, dried herbs and black olives. Similar in style to Italian Chianti the palate is a fine balance of morello cherry fruit and earthy, savoury notes. The firm tannin backbone and generous lick of acidity adds length and structure. The wine to match with a duck liver pate or any Italian dish such as tagliatelle ragu, porcini mushroom risotto, spicy chorizo sausage or Sicilian pizza.

ALC/VOL 14.2%. Approx 8.6 standard drinks. Preservative 220 added

Tallis Dookie Hills Rose 2013

SOLD OUT -  BACK IN SPRING 2014. The popularity of Rose continues to grow in Australia as this style of wine perfectly matches our love of seafood, and lingering alfresco dining. Bright, fresh aromas of raspberry and strawberry with a fragrant musky lift. With flavours reminiscent of fruit pastille and red berry fruits, the palate is well balanced with natural residual sugar adding roundness with a lick of acidity for a cleansing finish. The perfect summer or lunch time drink with fresh rice paper rolls, spicy barbequed prawns, Thai beef salad or a fresh goats cheese soufflé
