The fruit for the Silent Showman is handpicked from our vineyard's best parcels and spends 12 months on American and French oak. This combination of selection and oaking gives elegance and the mocha chocolate flavours to the wine.

The dense colour gives a clue to the intensity and complexity of the wine. This Shiraz is very approachable now with fine tannins yet has the power to age for at least 10 years.

The nose has red berries, spice and hints of cedar leading to a rich palate of berry plum mocha and toasty oak.

A food match for this wine needs to have the depth of flavour to complement the wine so a char grilled steak with caramelised onion, Moroccan flavoured BBQ lamb or aged cheddar would all fit the bill.
