If you are interested in experiencing art up close or from a distance, visit the Tallis Wine cellar door during March and early April.
You can walk the Tallis geoglyph, created by Richard Tallis with the help of his tractor and satnav, or enjoy a viewing from the cellar door where you can experience not only the geoglyph, but also the 'Art of nature' through our large picture windows.
Opening Hours: Tue, Wed, Thur 10-3pm. Frid, Sat, Sun 11–5pm. Closed Monday
A geoglyph is a major image designed and crafted into the earth. Many examples abound around the world including the ancient Uffington White Horse of Oxfordshire England, the Creatures of the deserts of Nasca and Pampas de Jumana, Peru. These images are scared, creating a spiritual space for worship of Earths bounty.
