White Wine

There is nothing more refreshing than a glass of good white wine on a summer evening. White wines are known to be lighter in style and taste than red wines, which makes them easy to drink. White wines are made from the grape juice and grape skin of green, gold or yellowish coloured grapes, and can also be made from just the juice of select red grapes. White wine often accompanies white meat dishes, such as fish and chicken, but can also be enjoyed by itself.

The old adage holds true – ‘white meat with white wine, red meat with red wine’.

There are many different styles of white wine, which include; Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio, Semillon, Viognier
