Once a month, the team at Tallis Wine gather for a wine tasting to benchmark our wines.
A Matter of Taste
The idea behind the tastings is to compare our wines with others in the marketplace. One month we will look at viognier, another month sangiovese, as so on.
We taste the wines blind, write up notes and compare. While the tastings have proven to be a lot of fun, we all agree that our wine knowledge has significantly improved.
Tasting sheets now available
Now we are making our tasting sheets available to you, which will enable you to set up your own blind tastings.
Why not give it a go!
Why not get your own wine tasting group together.
Simply choose the wine style you would like to look at, buy up to six bottles of wine in that style (don’t forget to include a Tallis wine) and bag them into plain paper bags to disguise their identity.
Number the bags one to six and record your perceptions of colour, aroma and palate on the tasting sheet.
When the tasting is complete, unmask the wines to reveal their identity.
