Viognier 2022 Dookie Hills

Pronounced: Vee-oh-nee-ay

Appearance: Golden straw colour matured in oak.

Nose: Lovely varietal aromas of fresh apricot, citrus blossom and a hint of vanilla spice from French oak.

Palate: Elegant and full bodied. Apricot flavours are prominent, both clean and fresh with a lovely fine balance of acidity meaning this is not an oily viognier. Complex savoury element in the back palate of the wine, a contribution from subtle oak integration.

Pairing: This wine drinks well on it’s own and is also a great match for Asian and rich fish dishes.
